Gracie Curry Holman

I started writing late in life after having a tragic in my family that I would not have gotten through if I couldn't come up with something positive to do. I didn't drink or did any other chemicals. I submitted a poem and to my surprise I got first place on it. I then started writing and then I had written an entire book of poetry. I started contacted publishers and again to my surprise they would accept everything I submitted. The problems I had was I didn't have the money to get my books published. I have never submitted anything to a publisher, and it was not accepted. If all the books I have written could have gotten published I would have at least ten out now.I graduated with a BS degree in Business Education from Rust College, Holly Springs, MS. There were seven of us and I was the first to go to college. I like writing period, but poetry is my passion. When I sit down to write poetry before getting up from mt computer I have written at least 10 or more poems.
